week 3

 I started developing my website and content pages.

After trialling the colourful backgrounds with the netball as the banner, I decided that it looked too plain and not natural enough for the health, vibrant style I wanted to achieve.

I selected some pictures that had greenery/natural backgrounds behind them to create a warmer and more welcoming banner:

I also made a section for the recent new edition, In the future I will edit the pictures to all have the proper text and cover lines on them but I have just used plain mockups for now.

Week 2

I developed my initial mockups for my front pages further, adding space for cover lines, a puff and the names of the people featured on the cover.

I also took more footage for my website focusing on netball and tennis aiming to get a main picture for my banner.

I used a light blue wooden background for most of the images which looked slightly grey so I brightened the image and used different colour overlays to achieve a more vibrant look

                                

From this, I created some mockups for the banner of my website, featuring lots of different colour combinations to see which I prefer.I think my favourites are the ones where she's holding the netball up in her hand/ the full version of the tennis racket in blue

                            

These are some other favourite pictures I took which could be used on the contents pages ,or I could cut her out of the picture since the background might be too busy.

I also took another picture which i think could work for the sports magazine front cover, I also made this into a mock up, trialling different colours:

After sorting through my images,here are some of the sport pictures I took which would be used for the 1st magazine and various parts of the website:

and for magazine 2 here are some of my skincare/wellbeing pictures

I took some of my favourite pictures and put some mastheads on them as mockups to see if they would work as frontcovers:

Out of these, my favourites are the first 2, and the rest of the pictures could potentially be used for the contents page instead.I tried

to make the background coloured as well as the masthead in order to stick to my vibrant, bright colour palette.

Here are some other pictures that I really liked:

                       I think these running shots would look good at the top of the website, I will experiment                 with these when I start designing on WIX
